Shimmy was a fun one of the four basic burlesque moves I was discussing in another article. This move is very frequent in Burlesque, but you can often see it Belly Dance as well. Let’s learn how to do the shimmy in burlesque.
The most important note is that it starts with shoulder shake. It looks like that you are shaking your breasts, but actually the emphasis is on the shoulders.
